VOLUNTEERING WITH CHILDREN

Edna Runner Tutorial Center: Provides a safe and nurturing environment for at-risk students and families so they may pursue academic excellence.

Thelma B. Pittman Pre-School: Provides a quality childhood program fostering cognitive language and social -emotional development in children 1 to 5 years of age.

Junior Achievement of the Palm Beaches:  Assists with life skill programs for Junior High and High School students.

Jupiter Elementary School: Provides an after school tutoring program for low income students.

Jupiter Community High School: English as a second language tutorial program (ESOL).

Banner Lake Club: Provides after school and summer youth programs.

In Jacobs Shoes: Providing children in need the opportunity to walk with pride and go to school prepared and with dignity.

Guardian Ad Litem: Helps abandoned, abused and neglected children.

Big Brothers Big Sisters: Creates and supports one-to-one mentoring relationships that ignite the power and promise of youth.

Vita Nova: New life for Homeless Youth - Provides housing, employment assistance and financial coaching for young adults who aged out of the foster care system and are at risk of homelessness.

Family Promise: Partners with churches to help homeless children by empowering their families to regain self-sufficiency.

Rebuilding the Palm Beaches: Painting projects to revitalize houses for low income families.

Forgotten Soldiers Outreach : Ships care packages and letters to military serving overseas.

Sunset House: Treatment program for men who wish to recover from chemical dependency.

St. Vincent De Paul: Provides emergency financial assistance to low-income individuals and families.

Wounded Veterans Relief Fund: Provides emergency financial support to qualified disabled veterans living in the West Palm Beach area.

Our Sister's Place: Offers direct services to victims and those at risk of domestic violence in northern Palm Beach County.

Warriors Renewal Coalition: Provides wounded warriors and their families to “Renew” and enjoy time together through “Rest & Reset” Retreats designed for them.

Nature Conservancy at Blowing Rocks Nature Preserve: Conserve the lands and water on which all life depends by conservation work in the field through beach cleanup activities.

Jupiter Medical Center: Provide invaluable support to patients, visitors and hospital members.

FEEDING THE HUNGRY

EL Sol: Provides services to those in need, especially day laborers and their families, through meals, jobs and education.

Meals of Hope: To inspire and empower communities to come together to end hunger.

Palm Beach Harvest : Number One provider of RESCUED food in PBC to feed the hungry 364 days a year.

Banner Lake Club Food Pantry: Help with set up, food distribution, and clean up.

Pearl Mae Foundation: Provides fresh, healthy groceries to low-income senior citizens in need.
